Naturally Raised Beef
Our grass fed and grass finished beef is antibiotic, steroid, hormone and chemical free, raised on pasture from birth, and finished on high quality forages - no grain. We practice AMPG, continuous access to fresh water, spring/summer calving, winter bale grazing, and low stress livestock handling. Our farming management system is designed to create happy and healthy animals, and ultimately, high quality, nutritious, and flavorful beef!

Adaptive Multi Paddock Grazing
Practicing AMPG means that our naturally raised grass fed beef cattle are moved to fresh pasture regularly, but in a dynamic way, depending on the conditions. Usually this means they are moved daily, but sometimes it's multiple times per day, and sometimes they are moved every few days. It always means that we are striving to provide the highest quality of forage for our animals, while at the same time considering how we are contributing to the regeneration of the land through our management.
Fresh Water
Our grass fed beef cattle have continuous access to fresh water via our watering systems, and limited exposure to dugouts and riparian areas, which means that these areas remain viable and healthy sites for wildlife use.
Spring/Summer Calving
Our calving season lines up with nature, so our mamas and calves can enjoy a healthy start on the fresh green grass, just like the deer.
Winter Bale Grazing
In the wintertime, our grass fed beef herd continues to move across the landscape, eating baled grass (hay) and evenly distributing fertilizer (manure) on the land, in preparation for the next growth cycle.
Low Stress Handling Techniques
A low stress environment is not only nice to live in, it has actually been shown to result in an increase beef tenderness! We are intentional about creating a peaceful environment for our grass fed beef cattle, whether they are out grazing in the pasture, or whether it's time to get on the trailer. We practice low stress weaning as well.

No Chemicals
The value we place on the health of our grass fed beef, as well as our insect and microbial communities here on the farm, mandates that we use alternate means of parasite control. No chemicals here.
